南韓MERS疫情擴大，新增14例，確診總數達到122人，9人死亡，其中一個確診的病例，就是昨天遭到排除感染的孕婦，前後兩次化驗，分別是陽性跟陰性，直到今天凌晨三度測試，結果又是陽性，證實成為南韓第一名確診的孕婦。

工作人員在首爾地鐵上仔細噴灑消毒水，就連座位底下和手把都仔細檢查，一一擦拭，MERS疫情升溫，南韓啟動防疫大作戰，CNN記者來到首爾照顧染MERS病患的醫院，實際了解醫院如何防疫， 進醫院前得先戴口罩，雙手噴灑消毒液，還得量測體溫，如果出現疑似症狀，會先到院外的三個帳棚區檢查，一旦發現疑似感染，再送到隔離區做進一步檢查。

醫護人員進入負壓病房，從頭到腳都得穿戴全身防護衣，看似滴水不漏，卻還是防不勝防，1名40歲即將臨盆的孕婦陪母親去急診室看病，而疑似感染，一篩是陽性，二篩是陰性，沒想到最新的三篩又是陽性，證實感染，不僅是南韓首例確診孕婦，也是全球罕見，而她的父母也同樣確診，MERS疫情升溫下個月在首爾舉行的小馬聯盟賽事，美國主辦單位決定移到日本福岡，跟韓國交流頻繁的香港也升高警戒，香港也出現33起疑似病例，暫時都遭到排除。
